CLOKR is a Chrome extension that protects your privacy when you use AI chat tools. It runs in your browser and detects common sensitive data patterns (emails, IBANs, tax codes, phone numbers) in what you type. Before the message is sent, CLOKR replaces them with placeholders, so the AI only sees anonymous tokens. All processing is local, no CLOKR servers, and the code is fully open source.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm a cybersecurity student from Italy and built CLOKR because I kept typing my personal data into AI chat tools without really thinking about where that data was going. CLOKR runs in your browser and looks for common sensitive data patterns (emails, IBANs, tax codes, phone numbers) in what you type. Before the message is sent, it swaps them with placeholders like [EMAIL_1] or [IBAN_1], so the AI only sees anonymous tokens while you still see your real data.
