i built ClipForge because i kept needing my own short clips back for re-edits and cross-posting, and every downloader i tried was either a popup that vanished or felt sketchy.
this one lives in the browser side panel. it finds video on the page, shows resolution / length / size when the site gives that, then you download with pause/resume. recent downloads stay in one list.
what it won't do: bypass drm, paywalls or logins. if you're not allowed to save it, don't.
free daily allowance, paid plan if you need more.
would love honest feedback on sites where detection fails for you, or anything confusing in the panel. i'll be around answering.
