I'm Duncan, a Software Developer from Glasgow, Scotland. I've run my own business for over 5 years and use both Stripe and FreeAgent.
Here's the thing: FreeAgent's built-in Stripe integration is designed to make FreeAgent invoices payable via Stripe. It's not designed to get your Stripe revenue into your accounts properly.
So I was stuck with two options:
Spend time manually splitting every payout, reconciling fees and categorising everything correctly
Just map the whole payout to a single category and hope for the best
Neither felt right. My P&L was either a mess or a lie. 😬
ClearingHouse fixes this by treating Stripe as your revenue system, not just a bank feed. It mirrors Stripe invoices in FreeAgent, categorises revenue by product, handles multi-currency properly and syncs transactions in real-time.
