Hey everyone! I’m the solo creator of Clayman: Blackout.
I wanted to make a small horror game about hiding in plain sight. You blend into colored walls, restore power terminals, and try to escape a roaming creature.
During development, I added a minimap to help with the larger levels. But in my own playtests, I kept watching the map instead of worrying about what was around the next corner. Removing it made the same corridors feel more tense.
I’d love your feedback after a first run: was it clear what to do, and did exploring feel tense or frustrating?
