ClawSetup replaces terminal commands, YAML files, and CLI headaches with a single native macOS app. A guided multi-step wizard takes you from zero to a running AI agent in under 5 minutes. What stands out is that you can deploy locally on your Mac or to a remote Linux cloud server from the same app, built-in security audits, auto-repair diagnostics, one-click OAuth channel pairing, and visual agent persona configuration. You own your machine, data, and AI assistant.

OpenClaw is revolutionary, yet the setup process is painful even for tech savvy people, let alone non tech ones. It's also brittle. I had to re-install OpenClaw, repair its settings and do security audits several times before I managed to get it work for me. That's why I decided to build a native macOS app that can do all of these for me. I called it ClawSetup. All I needed to provide it was my Anthropic API key and my Telegram bot's token. ClawSetup takes care of the rest. It allows me to get OpenClaw up and running in just a few clicks not only on my local mac mini but also on my cloud servers. This made my life much easier. I am not extending it to support advanced setups: more model providers, integrations, skills, persona, and templates.
