Love the local-first, no-subscription approach. This feels less like βanother AI chatβ and more like giving your computer an actual assistant that quietly does the boring stuff. My files are always messy, definitely going to try it out πͺ

@seanp_aiΒ Hi Sean, are you spying my desktop?!
I'm super organized, except my files. My files are always a mess, and suffer a lot when I need to find something.
A question please, how do you handle the correct categorization while respecting user privacy?

@seanp_aiΒ Great product Sean. Maybe we will get past the budget-final-reallyfinalQ3.xls with this
@seanp_aiΒ Hey Sean congrats on the launch. I really like how clearly youβre drawing the line between on-device agents and the cloud bridge.
I actually run into the same file-organization problems youβre solving. The only reason Iβve been hesitant with tools like this is that a lot of my work involves very sensitive files, so privacy and zero-retention really matter to me.
Iβm going to give Claw a try in a sandbox with non-sensitive data first. While looking through the site, I got curious about how youβve pressure-tested the βlocal-onlyβ guarantees under edge cases like crashes, retries, updates, or cloud delegation.
I spend most of my time validating exactly those kinds of trust boundaries for local-first and agentic tools. genuinely interested in how youβre thinking about proving those guarantees as the product scales.
Great idea for local work. I tried Claw and it helps to organize my local storage and work with my files as a knowledge base. Also I connected my Google Gemini and Perplexity subscriptions so that I can use everything in one place. Nice idea!

@antonusacaΒ thanks Anton, much appreciated !
Quick license question: Is the Claw Pro Early Bird lifetime license tied to a single device, or can I use the same license on multiple personal Macs under the same Apple ID (e.g., my MacBook and Mac mini)?
GPTsdex
@abdalmohsen_al_tulaihiΒ Hi, a license can connect to 3 devices at the same time (you can unlink if needed)
@seanp_aiΒ Thank you for clarifying this. I have already purchased the app; however, I'm having an issue activating the license. The app keeps saying "Failed to connect to server" every time I try to enter my email. Could you please look into this?
Wow, such a great idea! Iβm the type of guy who download and screenshot tons of things, then spend 30 mins organizing and deleting them every Sunday. Will check this out!

Great idea, would be great to have pro unlocked for a day to test it. I love the idea.

Wow, Claw Executive OS looks amazing! Love the local-first approach for privacy. How does the on-device processing handle extremely large video files? Super curious!
GPTsdex
@jaydev13Β Hi Jay, we can ask Claw to write some code to processing this, also Gemini is pretty good at ingest the video file too. You can connect with Gemini API key and try this out.
