I built it to reduce the back-and-forth between the app I'm working in and a separate AI chat. The idea is simple: point to what matters on your screen, say what you need, and keep working.
Three ways to start:
• Circle screen content to translate, explain, or summarize it.
• Dictate into a text field, with optional AI cleanup.
• Ask by voice or text for research and supported desktop actions, with progress shown in a small HUD.
Speech recognition runs on your Mac. You choose a supported local AI model or connect your own cloud provider. CircleAssist is for Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 26+, with 16 GB RAM recommended. First-time setup includes downloading the speech model and configuring your AI model.
The app currently has a free launch offer; see the website for current access terms. Third-party cloud AI fees are separate.
