Hey everyone! My name is Daan and I'm the product designer of Circa – a smart alarm designed to help you sleep better. Our aim is to help you get rid of your smartphone in your bedroom and wake up feeling well-rested. We’ve been working for months refining Circa’s design and smart features, and we’re very excited to show them to you today! What makes Circa different? – You don’t need a phone. Leave it away from the bed! – OLED touch display for easy navigation. The black pixels are off, so less light in your bedroom during the night! – A thin sensor you can put under your mattress, that carefully tracks your sleep cycles over multiple nights – A breathing indicator that helps you calm your breath and slow down your thoughts before drifting away – Within a timeframe of 30 minutes before your alarm is set, Circa’s smart alarm will find the best moment to wake you up in light sleep, based on the sensor. – Wake up by listening to your favorite sounds through Spotify, digital radio or your own music – Connect to other smart appliances, such as your lights or thermostat using Triggi – No technical and harsh design, but an alarm to make you feel at home.
