Cinder turns the Apple Watch you already wear into a Whoop replacement: recovery and biological age from your HRV, resting heart rate, VO2 max, sleep and movement. It is also a full workout tracker: follow a plan, log sets in seconds, see a muscle map of every session, and replay your runs in 3D with pace. Watch app and Live Activities included, no account, works offline, syncs with Apple Health. Free to download; Premium is $2.99 a month, $17.99 a year, or $30 once.

Hey, I'm Jared, a solo dev. I wanted Whoop-style recovery numbers without wearing a second band or paying for another subscription, when my Apple Watch was already collecting HRV, resting heart rate, VO2 max and sleep every day. So I built Cinder.
It resolves those into recovery and a biological age that actually moves, and because it is also my workout tracker, the strain side is real too: plans like Push Pull Legs, sets logged in seconds, a muscle map of every session, and 3D replays of runs with pace lit under the route. Watch app and Live Activities, no account, works offline, everything syncs with Apple Health.
Honest limitation: recovery and age are estimates from Health data, so they are only as good as what your Watch records, and it is iPhone and Watch only.
Free to download; Premium is $2.99 a month, $17.99 a year, or $30 once. If you track with a Watch today, what does your current setup get wrong?
