Cibby is an iPhone app for physical video game collectors. Build a tactile 3D shelf, scan whole shelves or barcodes, track values, listen to soundtracks, import existing collections, and rediscover the games you already own.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I’m Michael, a designer and lifelong physical game collector.
I made Cibby because I’ve always felt that game collection software treats the things we collect too much like rows in a database. I wanted something that celebrated the boxes, artwork and physicality of the collection itself.
Cibby turns your collection into a tactile 3D shelf. You can pick up and inspect your games, scan an entire shelf from a photo, add individual games by barcode, import existing collections, track values, listen to original soundtracks and generally spend far too much time rediscovering the games you already own.
The catalogue now contains more than 60,000 individually designed game boxes across 47 platforms, and there’s already a growing community helping improve it every day.
Cibby is free to try on iPhone with up to 10 games.
I’d especially love feedback from fellow collectors: does this feel like the collection app you’d actually want to use?
