Just buy it. It's a great product with excellent customer service and support. The one-time $50 price tag is a total steal for what you get. I never ever have to worry about losing any of my data, ever, thanks to Chronosync.
It says I've used this product for 1 year because that's the longest duration you can choose, but I've been using it for many years at this point, and I love it.
