You can stack historical topics as swim lanes and zoom through 3,000 years. Zoom out to see the big arcs. Zoom in to read individual events. Expand a sub-layer inline. See how a plague event in one lane connects to political collapse in another. Right now it covers hundreds of layers and thousands of events. With more being added continuously. Quantitative layers (Population curves, army sizes) are also supported so you'll be able to see a population crash alongside the plague events that caused it.
