Hey Everyone!
Chroma is a simple color picker I started building to help pick better colors. I really wanted to merge the natural color selection process we are all used to with a larger focus on the color selected.
I’m hoping to add color history & copy in hsl/rgb by the end of the week.
I’d love to hear your thoughts & feedback!
@aaronisabaer hey Aaron, I haven't added it yet because the mobile experience is definitely lacking compared to the desktop. I'm having to reimplement some features so they will work on mobile as well, then I'll definitely make sure to add an icon for that. Thanks!

Nifty tool. Added to my collection. What do you think about adding something to be able to pick out a combination of colors? Something simple like 4 rectangles side by side?
Just added ability to toggle between color formats, either by clicking the color format or pressing the control key.

Looks good, Spencer! The copy button on the right (or at least I think it's a copy button) doesn't seem to be working for me on Chrome. It would also be awesome to be able to compare more than one color, or enter in my own hex code. Thanks for sharing!
@danfranchap thanks so much! I'm looking into the copier button, but in the meantime I also added cmd/ctrl + c to copy the current color value (even if you switch between hex/hsl/rgb). Hopefully that should solve it in the meantime!

Would love to be able to select multiple shades at once and average between them! This is fantastic though. Love it.

fantastic spencer, i like this alot especially with displaying the colour on the whole screen and homing into colours with fine detail. Graphic Designers tool I reckon. Chur

Can you add a '.favicon' so I can put this in my bookmark bar?

And put a delay on the mousedown action so the screen doesn't flash when I simply click. :)

And clicking the hex code should copy to clipboard.
edit: Just realized clicking the button to the right does this. But both ways should be possible. Or you could put a text field in place of the hex code (for both manual input and copy to clipboard on focus).
@aleclarsoniv just added the favicon, and now cmd + c copies the current color to the clipboard. I'm saving the hex code area to allow pasting of a color, as well as tweaking colors from that area, just haven't been able to build it yet!
