Every screenshot is a promise you made to yourself — read this, buy that, go there. Chista's AI keeps those promises organized: auto-imported, categorized, and one tap from done. Free to start, Pro from $4.99/mo.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋
Every screenshot is a promise you make to yourself — read this later, buy that, go there. My camera roll had 2,847 broken promises. Articles I never read. Products I forgot to buy. Concerts that happened without me.
So I built Chista: an AI inbox that keeps those promises organized.
Take a screenshot anywhere — Instagram, Safari, WhatsApp — and Chista auto-imports it, reads it with AI, and files it into Articles, Products, Events, References, or Media. Each one gets a one-tap action: read it, buy it, add it to your calendar,
save the contact.
Some context on the build, because I know this crowd
appreciates it:
🛠️ Built solo in 30 days — SwiftUI frontend, FastAPI backend,
Supabase, OpenAI for the categorization
💸 Total cost to launch: ~$310 (bless the free tiers — Supabase,
Railway, Cloudflare, you're doing God's work)
🌍 Shipped from Tanzania 🇹🇿
🔒 Privacy-first: Chista only reads screenshots, never your
regular photos — enforced in code, not just promised
Free to start . Pro is $4.99/mo or $39.99/yr with a 14-day free trial — unlimited screenshots, premium AI, custom reminder times.
I'd genuinely love to know: what's one screenshot you took ages ago and never came back to? Reading every reply — the answers are already shaping the roadmap.
Drop any questions about the app or the build below. I'm here
all day. 🙏

Would love a way to set reminders for screenshots before I forget the context. Like if I save a recipe on Sunday, ping me Thursday to actually cook it.

@mcahithmua Thank you for the feedback! putting this on pipeline!

love how it just quietly pulls in screenshots without me having to babysit the app. that auto-import feels really thoughtful, especially the auto-categorization that actually seems to get it right instead of dumping everything into one pile. nice execution

Finally an app that actually cleared out my screenshot chaos. The auto-categorizing worked better than I expected, even on a messy phone dump.
