We re building Checkpoint Zero as a social platform for indie game developers and gamers focused on living game pages, devlogs, wishlists, reviews, studios, and game discovery.
The main problem we re trying to solve is that indie game updates are often scattered across Steam, itch.io, Discord, Reddit, YouTube, and social media. We want to give each game a central place where players can follow its journey over time.
Would love feedback from the Product Hunt community:
If you re an indie developer, what would make you publish your game on a platform like this?
If you re a gamer, what would make you follow an indie game before launch?
What features would make Checkpoint Zero genuinely useful instead of just another game listing site ?
how does the playtesting part actually work, do players find these pages organically or do you drive traffic somehow
Hi @ylmazturan3du8
It can be both. Playtests can be open to public or you can invite selected users to playtest.
In both cases the `Developer` needs to accept the playtest requests from the gamers.
We are still improving/changing features based on user feedback.
If you would like to try and share feedback, that would be amazing 🙌🙌
