ChatHop adds a floating navigation bar to ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. It displays numbered buttons for every message in your conversation. Hover over any button to preview the message, and click to instantly jump to it — no more endless scrolling through long AI chats. Works automatically on existing and new conversations with no setup needed.

Finally tried this on a 50-message Claude thread and it actually saved me a ton of scrolling. The hover preview is a nice touch since you can peek without losing your spot.
@azizstolufz4r Thanks for trying it out! I'm glad it made navigating longer Claude conversations easier. The hover preview was one of the features I spent the most time refining, so it's great to hear it's been helpful.
Does this work on the mobile versions of these chatbots or is it strictly a desktop browser extension for now?
@c_oglu92268 Thanks for the question! Right now, ChatHop is a desktop browser extension for Microsoft Edge. Mobile browsers don't currently support this type of extension, but I'm definitely keeping mobile support in mind for the future.
does it work on the free tiers of those sites or only when you're logged into a paid plan like chatgpt plus
@haydardtia Thanks for checking it out! ChatHop works on the free versions of ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. There's no Plus/Pro subscription required. Just install the Edge extension and it works automatically on supported chats.
Long AI threads used to drive me nuts scrolling back for context, and the little preview tooltip on hover is honestly the best part. Works exactly as advertised.
@rzgargndemrzv7 Thank you! Long AI conversations were exactly what inspired ChatHop. I'm really happy the hover preview and instant navigation made it easier to find previous messages without all the scrolling.
finally something that fixes the worst part of long chat sessions, the hover preview is super handy when scanning for that one answer you remember was somewhere up there
@nazlcanmilnyku Thank you! That's exactly the problem I wanted to solve. Instead of scrolling through dozens of messages, you can quickly scan the previews and jump straight to the one you're looking for.
The hover preview before jumping is a really thoughtful touch, it saves you from losing your place if the snippet turns out to be the wrong message. Nice execution on something so simple.
@abdurrahmay2np Thanks, I really appreciate that! That was exactly the idea behind the hover preview—help you quickly verify you're jumping to the right message without losing your place. Glad you found it useful!
