I’m Tom, the maker of ChatGPT2Gemini.
Like many of you, I’ve been experimenting with Gemini 3 and its massive context window. But I felt stuck. I had years of "external brain" stored in ChatGPT—coding snippets, project specs, and creative writing.
For my personal account, I tried the manual export, but it’s just a raw JSON file, requiring you to parse it. For my work ChatGPT, which is ChatGPT for Business, I couldn’t export chats. For the personal account, I didn’t want to use online converters because I wasn’t comfortable uploading my private chat history to a stranger’s server to convert a file. And for my work account, I didn’t have any other option than manually copying every message.
So, I built a bridge. ChatGPT2Gemini is a desktop utility that parses your ChatGPT export and formats it perfectly for Gemini.
