Hi Product Hunt, I'm Miklos, the maker. I use Claude, Gemini and ChatGPT every day and wanted one simple way to save the chat I have open as a file, the same way on all three.
ChatCarton adds an Export button to the page (plus the toolbar popup). Pick Markdown, plain text, JSON or PDF (through the print dialog), or Copy as Markdown. It works with custom GPTs and ChatGPT project chats too.
It's free and local only: no account, no analytics, no remote code, and the only permissions are storage and scripting on those three sites. Honest limitation: images and files come out as placeholders for now. There's a Pro waitlist on chatcarton.com.
