Hello ProductHunt community! My name is Aaron. I have been used chatgpt since it was launched and there has been a problem annoying me for a long time: The whole prompts which may take several minutes to type would disappear once you press "enter" and chatgpt response with an error. It's just gone and no way to find it back. One week ago, my wife complained about this issue to me, too. Apparently, it's time to do something. So, here it comes: The ChatCache! An extension that helps caching, managing and restoring the prompts you typed. This first v0.0.1 version includes these features: ✍️ Save the prompts you input instantly into your browser storage once you press "enter"; 📋 Hit "ctrl" three times quickly to show the prompts cache panel ("ESC" to close it) ; 🔙 Restore you prompts and put it back to the input area with one click on the restore icon on the right of your promt; That's it! I know it's simple but it works, right? With this extension, you don't have to worry about the prompts lose caused by ChatGPT error anymore. Hope this could save from typing same things again and again and you can have more time to spend with your friends and family.
