Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Aleksandar, the maker of Chat Buddy.
It started with a car-detailing products shop in Serbia. They had hundreds of products and got the same questions all day: "Which polish is for black paint?", "Is this in stock?", "How long does delivery take?" Questions arrived at night and on weekends, when nobody could answer, and most of those visitors just left.
So I built an AI assistant that learns the shop's content and answers those questions for them.
What Chat Buddy does: you give it your website pages, PDFs and product CSVs, or install the WordPress plugin to sync your pages and WooCommerce products automatically. You paste one line of code into your site, and the assistant starts answering visitors 24/7 in their language.
It does more than answer:
🛒 Takes orders in the chat
📋 Captures leads and booking requests
🙋 Hands the chat to a person on your team when a visitor asks, with alerts by email or Telegram
🔌 Calls your own API through custom skills, for example for live order status or stock
Details that matter:
• It answers only from your content. If something isn't covered, it says so instead of guessing, and the question goes on a "knowledge gaps" list so you know what to add next.
• You decide which topics it may discuss. It declines everything else, and declined messages don't count against your allowance.
• Your branding, colors and logo, and 44 widget languages. It can reply in whatever language a visitor writes in.
• Data is hosted in the EU, with a GDPR data processing agreement built into the Terms.
• No API key needed. The AI is included in every plan.
To be upfront: it's a website chat widget only. It doesn't do WhatsApp, Instagram or voice yet.
