Change A View (BETA)

Hi ProductHunt! We’re very excited to share ChangeAView.com (CAV) with you -- a new website built to help the world discuss various issues in a more productive and inclusive way. If you’re a Reddit user, you may have heard of a subreddit I created in 2013 called r/ChangeMyView -- CAV is the “2.0” of this project. For multiple reasons, which I cover in detail on our blog, we realized in mid-2018 that our contribution to public discourse would be better served by having the freedom to forge our own path. This means we’ve been able to change some fundamental mechanics and build new features (like quoting and integrated delta awarding), but it also gives us the capacity/autonomy to take new opportunities as we evolve. For example, we have plans to integrate with education, provide private CAV areas to organizations, and launch a widget to facilitate two-way CAV discussions below external articles. For now, we hope you enjoy the public forum (and please feel free to ask questions/give feedback) -- happy view-changing!
