Hi there! I’m Daniel, the founder of Chanchito. The idea came from a simple frustration: most personal finance apps feel too complex, rigid, or disconnected from how people in LATAM actually manage their money day to day. Many want to track expenses, but giving up after a few days is very common. We decided to build a chat-first experience powered by AI, so tracking expenses feels natural and fast, without spreadsheets or heavy interfaces. Chanchito is designed specifically for LATAM realities, including local currencies and everyday spending habits.
