ChainCalories is a free nutrition calculator for restaurant chains. Build your exact order — a Chipotle bowl, Panda Express plate, or Starbucks drink — piece by piece and watch calories, protein, carbs and fat update live. No signup, no paywall. Set a calorie budget and the ticket warns you before you go over. Save your order as a shareable link. Covers Chipotle, Panda Express and Starbucks (including new protein cold foam), with more chains coming.

Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built this because every "restaurant calorie calculator" I tried either buried the tool behind ads, made me sign up, or wasn't accurate. So I built ChainCalories — pick your chain, build your order exactly how you'd order at the counter, and see the totals update live.
A few things I tried to get right:
- Calorie budget mode — set a limit, get warned before you go over
- Shareable links — build your usual order once, bookmark it, and it loads back exactly as you left it
- Real official data — cross-referenced against each chain's own published nutrition info
Now covering 6 chains: Chipotle, Panda Express, Starbucks (including the new protein cold foam), Subway, Taco Bell and Chick-fil-A — 47 calculators in total.
The part I care most about: if a chain only publishes regional or incomplete data, I say so on the page instead of guessing. There's a lot of fast-food nutrition content out there that's quietly wrong.
Next up: McDonald's, Wendy's, KFC — and an embeddable widget so nutrition sites can drop a calculator straight into their own pages.
Would love feedback — especially if a number looks off. Tell me and I'll fix it same day.
love that you included the cold foam drinks already. one thing that would really help me though is a way to save favorite orders across visits so i dont have to rebuild my usual starbucks order every single time i open the app
@koscag28899 This already works, just not obviously enough — which is on me.
Every order you build gets its own URL. Hit "Copy shareable link", bookmark it, and next time you open that bookmark your exact Starbucks order loads back in, cold foam and all. Same link works if you text it to someone else.
So the mechanism is there — the discoverability isn't. You shouldn't have to figure that out from a button labelled "share" when what you actually want is "save". I'll make that clearer.
Thanks for this — genuinely useful feedback.
