I built Cerebro because I was tired of quiz apps that reward whoever plays the most. Trivia Crack, Kahoot, QuizUp , they all let you grind your way to the top. I wanted something where only genuinely getting better moves your score. So I built a rolling IQ system: starts at 500, weighted 70% accuracy and 30% speed, and moves like an ELO rating. Play a thousand games badly and you'll stay mediocre. Play twenty games brilliantly and you'll rise fast. The feature I'm most proud of is the ranking system, you can see exactly where you stand globally, in your country, and at your company (verify with your work email). The moment someone knocks you off your spot, you get a notification. That's the hook that keeps people coming back. A few things I'd love your thoughts on: The IQ score does the 70/30 accuracy/speed split feel right, or should speed matter more? Company rankings — is this something you'd actually use to flex on your colleagues? What categories are we missing? Been building Cerebro for the past few weeks and we go live on Product Hunt in 8 hours.

The core idea: most quiz apps let you brute-force your way to the top. Play enough and you'll rank. Cerebro uses a rolling IQ rating accuracy and speed, not volume. The only way up is to genuinely get better.

A few things that surprised me during beta:

The company leaderboard caused more drama than I expected. People care deeply about being the smartest person at their workplace.
