CD Term Calculator: Free CD calculator for interest, APY & maturity value

Hey everyone! 👋 I built CD Term Calculator after getting frustrated trying to compare certificate of deposit rates across different banks and terms — most calculators out there only handle the basics and don't account for compounding frequency, tax impact, or laddering multiple CDs together. The goal was simple: a free, no-signup tool where you can plug in your deposit amount, rate, and term and immediately see maturity value, total interest, and after-tax returns — without wading through a bank's marketing page to find a calculator buried three clicks deep. While building it, I ended up adding a CD laddering comparison view since that's how a lot of people actually approach CDs — spreading deposits across multiple terms instead of locking everything into one.
