CatDoes is a no-code app builder. Its AI agent, Compose, runs in the cloud and has its own computer, so you can close the tab and it keeps working. Compose writes the code, installs the packages, runs the tests, and fixes its own errors. It builds mobile apps and websites. Every plan comes with a backend included, database and auth and storage and edge functions and real-time events. For founders, SMBs, designers, and engineers who want to move faster.

Review CatDoes?
Reviewers mostly praise CatDoes for speed, ease of use, and surprisingly polished results, especially for non-technical users building simple mobile apps, web apps, or even a mini-game quickly. Several say its background workflow, intuitive interface, and stronger design output stand out from other AI builders, and some note fast support. But the feedback is not unanimous: a few users call it unfinished, citing missing buttons, failed Supabase integration, weak code fixes, and credits that disappear quickly when the coding agent gets stuck.
i used this like 5 months ago and was kinda disappointed tbh. but i started using it again a month ago and its a totally different experience now. they really improved the platform i subscribed for the business plan. rooting for the team, you can tell they've been putting in work.
This is my favorite mobile app builder. You can build almost anything with it: games, apps for internal company use, or anything your mind can imagine. They are iterating very quickly, and I love how much the error handling and credit usage have improved. They also have an amazing, fast support team.
Really great! I played around with it for an idea I had in mind, and it was amazingly thorough from start to finish. Even the "junior" designer was so pixel-perfect. Talking about which, the possibility to switch between junior and senior as needed is a very nifty touch.
I've tried a bunch of AI app builders and this one's honestly in another league. Fast, actually gets what you're asking for, and the background thing is wild. Closed the app the other day, came back today, and it had just finished the work on its own. Didn't even know it kept going in the background. You can get really far on just the free credits too. Already started telling friends about it.
What needs improvement
The cloud backend UI has room for enhancement.

Amazing UI result, it doesn't feel AI-generated. It has taste almost.
I built a mini-game with CatDoes in about 10 minutes, and I was genuinely impressed. It worked really well, the interface felt intuitive, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. I even deployed it straight to the web right away. Your team also seems great, which made the experience even better.
This tool is like a dream for a non-technical person like myself. I can't believe I was able to build a mobile app for my ecom shop in probably 3 hours max! I have submitted the app to testflight, let's see how it goes!
What I have tried before
- Lovable
- Cursor
- Rork
- Anything
- Vibecode app
Lovable for mobile apps sucks at the moment and I couldn't get an app out, Cursor and Rork make me feel dumb. I think they're built for developers, really wasn't sure how to use them properly and I think even if you're technical you still need to know how to write good prompts for them to work.
Anything and Vibecode app were the closest but the UI they make is just not... usable. Their agents don't seem to have a design taste and unless you have some good UI references, you're cooked.
Save your money. This app isn’t ready and will burn through credits fast.
I tried building a fairly simple multi-page app with minimal UI. Within minutes, I’d used 100 credits just to get the initial code. Then another 100 vanished while the system repeatedly failed to fix a basic date issue. Each attempt consumed credits without solving the problem. Credits are used aggressively and the value returned is poor—you’ll be left frustrated and out of pocket.
Pros:
The concept of 3 agents (concept, design, coding) is interesting. The first two stages worked reasonably well and the interface feels intuitive, giving the impression of a smooth process.
Cons:
To reach the third agent you’ll likely need to pay, as I did. Unfortunately, this is where the experience falls apart. The coding agent rapidly burns through credits while failing to deliver working fixes. My simple date error consumed over half my purchased credits without resolution. Support via Discord responded quickly but offered little more than “keep spending or download the broken code,” which is ironic given this product is aimed at non-coders.
Overall:
I wasn’t expecting perfection, but the credit system is excessive and the results underwhelming. Even for a simple app, it’s clear you’d need to spend thousands, with no guarantee of success. The idea has promise, but right now it underdelivers badly.
My project wasn’t complex, yet the app couldn’t deliver. Big fail for me—don’t waste your money.
Absolutely awful experience. The product is clearly not ready. Buttons are missing, integration with Supabase fails, constantly, the "Junior Designer" agent fails to generate a simple HTML/CSS page.
I dont understand how anyone gave this more than 2 stars. And I have been using this for a few days now.
The combination of the three AI agents is truly interesting. While the cost might seem a bit high, this approach ensures a professional-grade app is delivered. I spent about an hour working with the service to design and receive my desired application for an online store. In my opinion, it was a very good experience
