Catch Me was inspired by a simple but frustrating reality: too many talented athletes never get seen, not because they aren’t good enough, but because they don’t have access to exposure, structure, or credibility. Most platforms reward popularity, not performance, and that leaves serious athletes behind. I wanted to build something different. A platform where performance is the focus, where stats, progression, and match context matter, and where scouts can trust what they’re seeing. The goal was never to create another highlight feed, but a system that turns real performance into real opportunity. During the build, my approach evolved from “just ship an app” to designing something that could actually scale and be trusted. That meant rethinking data structure, verification, and long-term use for both athletes and scouts. This launch is just the beginning, and I’m excited to learn, improve, and build this together with the community.
