Catalist merges Apple's Calendar, Reminders, and Notes into one native daily view, instead of locking your tasks into yet another app's private database. Drag events and to-dos onto a visual time-blocking timeline, prioritize or delegate with a tap, and view projects as Kanban boards or an Eisenhower Matrix. It runs natively on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch with home-screen widgets — and everything stays on your device. You caNo accounts, no third-party SDKs, no tracking.
Hey Product Hunt!
I check my calendar every morning without fail — my reminders and to-dos, not so much. Including my shopping list, which is how I once left the store feeling like I'd crushed my list of things to do for the day, only to get home and realize I'd forgotten the dog food. Again.
That's what got me building Catalist: one daily view where my calendar, tasks, and notes actually live together, instead of three separate apps I only remembered to open one of.
Along the way I noticed the same problem with project work — tasks kept getting stranded in their own project lists, disconnected from what I was actually doing that day. So I brought those into the daily view too. I also added a way to record meetings to get transcripts and meeting summaries using Notes.
Privacy was non-negotiable for me while building this — Catalist reads your existing Calendar and Reminders data directly, but everything stays on your device. No accounts, no third-party SDKs, no tracking. It's your data, staying yours.
Would love to hear how you currently juggle calendar, tasks, and notes (if you do at all!) — and what's missing for you.
