Hi Product Hunt,
I'm Raushan, founder of Corenexis.
Every expense tracker I tried wanted one of two things: my bank login, or permission to read my messages. Both felt like a lot to hand over just to find out where my money went. So I went back to a spreadsheet - and stopped updating that within a month too.
Cashly is the app I wanted instead. You decide what goes in. Nothing is read from your bank, your SMS or your cards, and it works in any currency and time zone, on Android and the web.
The hard part was never the logging. It was making manual entry not feel like bookkeeping. Pay by credit card and the card's outstanding goes up. Pay from a bank account and that balance goes down. Edit an entry six weeks later and every balance corrects itself. You never fix a number by hand.
Three things turned out to matter more than I expected:
Lend and borrow. Money lent to friends and family is most of the "missing" money for a lot of people, and it usually lives on a scrap of paper. Part payments, running balances and due dates now live in the app.
EMIs and bills. Add a loan once and Cashly works out the interest, the months left and the next due date. Bills and subscriptions show up before they are due, so nothing slips.
Talking to your money. Cashly has an MCP server and a REST API, so you can ask ChatGPT or Claude what you spent on food last month, or let n8n log a recurring expense for you. It started as a weekend experiment and became the feature I use most.
Cashly is free to use, with no ads. You can try the full app without signing up: https://cashly.corenexis.com/api/auth/demo
I'd genuinely love your feedback on the manual-entry trade-off. Is it a dealbreaker for you, or a relief?
