Cascade turns your codebase into a playground for exploration. Branch, preview, and evolve ideas in parallel with agents and instant worktree builds. Built for modern web development.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 We’re excited to share Cascade with you.
Cascade lets you explore multiple versions of your product at once. Each with live previews and agent-powered branches, ultimately merging the one you want to ship.
We're calling this a Creative Development Environment and we’re finally opening it up to the public.

What Cascade Does
Instead of working in a single linear history, Cascade lets you branch freely, preview instantly, compare visually, and merge the path you want to move forward with. It sits directly on your codebase and makes exploration feel fluid.
Here’s what makes it different:
• Git-native branching as the core
• Detached worktrees for instant, live previews
• Claude Code on any branch to evolve variations in context
• A visual canvas to navigate your exploration map
It brings design-style creativity into real engineering workflows for modern web development.

Why did we build it?
The idea started when Johnathan (@jchiu) and I realized how often we were vibe-designing in code: swapping components, tweaking layouts, undoing, reverting, trying again. We'd send countless screenshots of iterations back and forth.
Agents felt linear.
Creation wasn’t.
We wanted a place where branching, exploring, and comparing ideas was the natural way to work, not a hack on top of git.
⸻
How do I get started?
Cascade is currently free to use and ready to download on Macs with Apple Silicon.
Cascade currently uses Claude Code for in-environment changes. You will need Claude Code installed.

It has never been easier to explore ideas in parallel. Excited to hear your feedback!
Really impressive concept. The idea of exploring multiple versions of a product in parallel with instant previews feels much closer to how real creation actually happens. The visual branching and ability to compare paths is a huge step forward from the usual linear workflow. Congrats on the launch and curious to see how people will use Cascade in their daily dev process.
