I built Cartculator to solve a problem I personally had for years: not knowing how much I’d spent while grocery shopping until I reached checkout. You put items in the cart and have no idea how much you already put. And if the budget is limited, you have no idea if you can add more. The total almost always felt higher than expected, and that uncertainty was frustrating — especially when trying to stick to a budget.
Most tools I tried either required manually typing prices or only helped after the purchase. I wanted something that worked in the moment, while decisions are being made.
It’s built for everyday grocery trips, when you just want to know if you can grab one more thing or if it’s time to stop.

That's a pretty great idea! I usually use a standard calculator app when I'm on a budget, but this solution looks interesting.
