We built CaribTrades after noticing how fragmented the trades industry still is across the Caribbean. Most tradesmen still depend heavily on Facebook posts, WhatsApp forwards, referrals, and word of mouth to find work. At the same time, clients struggle to find reliable professionals they can trust. We wanted to create a more structured and modern way for both sides to connect. With CaribTrades, tradesmen can build a professional online presence with project galleries, reviews, messaging, quotation, and invoicing tools, while clients can search, compare, and hire more confidently. One thing that became very clear while building this was the level of demand from skilled tradesmen looking for more consistent opportunities. That insight shaped a lot of our direction and reinforced the importance of building tools that genuinely help professionals grow their business online. Excited to finally launch this and continue improving it alongside the community.
