When I do the job search daily, I apply to 20–30 jobs. A week later, I don’t have any context on who is calling, what role I applied for, or what the requirements are. Also, manually copy-pasting all the data to Excel is a difficult task. That’s why I built a browser extension to save job details to a Notion database. Also, with the help of AI, I review my resume against that job and get a score for the similarity and relevant skills. The interesting part is it is fully processing from the browser using the user's API and Notion, so the user data is not being saved outside the user's Notion database.
