I recently came across something called CareerAce, and I thought it looked pretty interesting.
It mainly focuses on AI-powered resumes and AI mock interviews. I’m currently looking for a job too, and honestly, it’s pretty exhausting. You have to keep tweaking your resume, and I’m not exactly great at writing resumes myself. Then there’s a whole bunch of stuff to prepare before every interview. The biggest problem is that I tend to get nervous once the interview actually starts. I often feel like I know everything when I’m preparing, but once the interview begins, my answers somehow turn into a complete mess
I gave the AI mock interview a try, and I feel like it has actually helped me a little. At the very least, I can practice on my own first, instead of having to wait until a real interview to realize what I haven’t prepared well enough.
That said, the product does seem to still be in its early stages. Some features feel like they’re still being gradually improved, and you might occasionally run into a few minor issues. I think that’s pretty normal, though, haha.
I’m actually looking forward to the future updates and hope they can polish things up soon. Especially if, in the future, it can help tailor and optimize your resume based on a job description, and then conduct mock interviews and give suggestions based on the specific job requirements, I think that would be genuinely useful for people who are currently job hunting.
Just leaving my footprint here and keeping an eye on the updates~~
