Tara and I have been building Carbonix - a clean solution to tracking LLM usage. Our initial version will be one that sits on your Chrome browser for the lowkey ChatGPT 4o model.
First, you should read Tara's comment about our story. It's pretty epic.
Second, you should follow my quick-start guide for Carbonix!
Hop on over to the Chrome store to download the extension. It should just be titled "Carbonix."
Make sure it's installed and pinned for your convenience.
Sign in using the Google authentication.
Boot up ChatGPT and start asking away! It should automatically start tracking, and if for some reason it doesn't, a quick refresh is all you need.
