Carmen Chen Wu is a CFDA award-winning Chinese-American handbag designer and is the Creative Director of CARAA. Born in Valencia, Spain, Carmen studied fashion design at Central St. Martins in London and Parsons School of Design in New York. After receiving the Geoffrey Beene Scholarship in 2010 while a student at Parsons, Carmen had the opportunity to lead the design of handbag collections for global fashion brands including Vivienne Tam, Marchesa, and Fairchild Baldwin.
