CaptionKit - the ultimate app for creating captions for your videos quickly and effortlessly. With CaptionKit, you can easily add subtitles to any video in just a few steps.
I've been using this new iOS app that's great for adding AI-powered subtitles to videos and it's super quick and easy, I found out about it through a friend, the founder has done a really good job here but I wonder if there's a way to customize the captions more, it's helpful but a bit more flexibility could make it even better
Congrats on the launch @seraleev! CaptionKit is a must-have tool for any content creator aiming to boost engagement and reach. The variety of templates and customization options are really impressive. I'm curious, do you have any plans to integrate with popular editing software like Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro in the future?

Hi, thanks for the great comment! I’d like to enhance the iPhone app, release an Android version, and launch a web service for quick captions creation. I have experience in these areas.

Looks like a handy tool for content creators! The AI-powered captions and translation features are definitely a plus. It'd be great to see Android support in the future, though. Also, I wonder if there's a way to fine-tune the AI for industry-specific jargon or accents? That could really set it apart from other captioning tools out there.
@andyroamer Hey, thanks for your valuable comment! I’m just starting work on the Android version, and it’s definitely several times harder than building for iPhone
As for jargon or accents - honestly, I’m not sure yet :) I’m constantly testing and improving the app, but that’s a great idea for future development. Thanks!

@flowsz Hey, a personal thank you for your support! It means a lot to me! I’m starting work on the Android version now - it’s definitely challenging and much harder than building the iPhone app. But I have some experience, and I’m hopeful everything will turn out great!

Any thoughts on adding collaborative features for teams working on video projects? It would be great to see how this app can support team workflows!
@yutong_s_liu Hi, Yutong! Thanks for the awesome comment! Teamwork is definitely a trend. Today, I received several requests for a web version. I’m confident that collaboration features would be a great addition to a web-based subtitle creation service.

I'm particularly intrigued by the AI aspect. Could you elaborate on the accuracy of the AI-generated captions, especially with regard to specialized terminology or multiple speakers? Additionally, does CaptionKit offer customization options for caption styling to maintain brand consistency across videos?
@neprokin Hi, Stas! Thanks for the great comment! Yes, we support multiple speakers, and you can customize subtitle styles to match your brand and use them for your new videos.

Can I add subtitles after the automatic translation of my video content? I find it very annoying to add the alignment timeline manually
