I’m Dan, founder of Capsafa. I built this after watching my dad spend months trying to track down lost pension details - paperwork that should have taken an afternoon to find instead took half a year.
I also run a UK mortgage brokerage, and I’d see the same pattern from a different angle: clients stuck mid-application because they couldn’t put their hands on an asset statement, a lease, or proof of a deposit source. Financial information scattered everywhere is a much bigger problem than people realise until they’re the one searching for it.
