Capbase is an open-source alternative to Crunchbase and PitchBook. I know a lot of people are tired of paying thousands a year just to see who funded a startup, so I built a funding database the community fills in. It works like levels.fyi: share what you know and you see everything. Add a funding round or fix a company's details, and once it's approved every profile unlocks for 30 days, free. It already pulls in SEC filings, SBIR, Innovate UK, Companies House and Wikidata.
