I'm the Founder of Capacitor. Capacitor is a self service platform to work with high quality distributed teams.
We have spun off Capacitor from StarterSquad.com to automate the way we work with self organizing teams of freelancers. The teams on Capacitor are entirely self evolved, fully distributed and consist only of freelancers.
Now that we have the model worked out, we're going to start inviting external (non-StarterSquad) teams onto the platform.

@gaurav, the advantage of Capacitor over generic freelancer platforms is that we focus highly on teamwork. The teams are reviewed by the clients based on the overall result and Capacitor facilitates internal team reviews to make sure of high quality. This allows team members to focus on what they're good at and to collaborate instead of competing with each other.
The client works doesn't have to deal with individual and potentially competitive freelancers, but they can benefit from teamwork instead.

How is capacitor different from Elance/Odesk/Guru etc. Don't they do the same thing?
