Although well-known for making good, intuitive graphic design accessible to the masses, it's disheartening to witness less and less graphics and elements locked away behind a paywall. I vividly remember the earlier years of Canva where it was still very usable within the free tier. Now it feels like you can't truly create your vision without comprimising your design or shelling out for the monthly payments. For this reason, unfortunately something that seems to be on the rise for platforms, apps and products, I am giving Canva 4 instead of 5 stars.
Generally a good platform, but it has many connected apps that are basically useless. For example, there might be some kind of an AI tool that allows for one test generation and that's all. People that use AI know that it is almost impossible to get good results with an AI tools without knowing specifics of how those tools work, it needs editing and tinkering in order for a ML model to really "get" what you want. Good for Canva to allow such integration, but overall it just misses the point.
🎨 I’ve been using Canva for nearly 10 years and it just keeps getting better, especially with the last AI features!
From pitch decks to social posts, banners to mockups, it’s been my go-to tool for both speed and creativity.
Still amazed at how accessible design has become thanks to Canva. Huge kudos to the team for continuously evolving the product! 🙌
I’ve been using Canva as my go‑to design toolkit for everything from social posts to slide decks. Its drag‑and‑drop interface and massive library of templates make creating polished visuals a breeze, even if you’re not a designer. The real‑time collaboration and Brand Kit features keep team projects on point. On the flip side, heavy designs can lag in the browser, and advanced vector editing is still pretty basic. Overall, Canva’s ease of use and versatility make it indispensable for quick, professional‑looking graphics.
