Love to see it! Have seen too many super talented people join companies with way too little info on the people they're joining. Candor solves for this, particularly for anyone early in their careers without big networks to draw from. Excited to see them launch today!

This is so needed! This helps level the playing field for people without the strongest networks (yet!) to find and work with the best leaders. There's a part of this that is about avoiding bad managers, but I think the bigger idea is GOOD leaders getting the spotlight and ability to find and attract great talent.

Love the idea behind this product @kelseycbishop! Glassdoor is only somewhat useful - after all, people leave managers not companies. Clean interface, great reviews already. What's your plan for soliciting constructive feedback vs angry rants?

LOVE this! A good hiring/interview process should be mutual, but it generally feels like hiring managers hold all the power. Managers are always back-channeling for candidate references so a solution like this that helps make the process more equitable for the candidates seems essential - and Glassdoor definitely doesn't cut it for startup leader evaluations. Founder @kelseycbishop is a #rockstar and she is onto something big with Candor. There is nowhere else to find such honest data and/or reviews of potential managers and potential peers in the startup world at hiring companies. The professional world is ready for transparency and accountability in hiring and job searching...beginning with startups - Candor really addresses the void!

It's a pretty cool tool - I used to work with Kelsey, so tried it out when she shared the news she was starting a company. Overall, this is giving prospects the transparency they deserve when job hunting!

Huge congratulations on launching, @kelseycbishop! As a coach, I'm excited not just for job hunters to have more transparency about the leaders for whom they may work, but for the possibility that Candor can instigate more interpersonal honesty in the workplace in general. It is the nature of blindspots not elude awareness, and leaders' blindspots cause problems. The existence of a product like Candor can inspire leaders to be kind, to become more aware of themselves, and to reconcile with their shadow, as reported by others who may see it more clearly than they. A public review forum that enables a full range of feedback, including negative, is naturally a bit hairy, but the possibility that Candor could shepherd Restorative Justice values into the workplace as part of the whole package is very enticing and very worth supporting.

As someone coming from a big tech company, this problem resonates with me. It’s so hard to understand what it’s like to work somewhere from Glassdoor when your company has 10s of thousands of employees. Really compelling idea to be able to learn more about the people you’re working for, not just the company.
