This app and functionality has been on our wish list and later idea list, a few years now. Struggling with e-commerce clients at an agency, that would constantly mess up their store's data. Weird decisions, reusing products and SKUs for the new collection or changing a lot of data without a human checking them with an automatic import from an external source. We wanted to write definitions as rules, to state how the data should be structured, and get notified, if it deviates. Now we built it and hope it saves a lot of time and money for people in similar positions as us.
