I am building Camilla MES to connect CNC production planning with the engineering information needed to make a part. The workflow brings together orders and parts, Control Center, NC preparation, automatic setup/process sheets and calculated material balances.
The current components include Control Center 1.3.52, the corporate Android operator interface v200 / 1.60.40, and the TechCards V281 module. Machine connections include work with FANUC, Siemens and OSAI controllers. Available loads and temperature signals can be shown to operators; not every machine is connected. The Android interface is for managed corporate deployments.
We have completed three test runs. We still need more production statistics to validate reporting and analytics, so I am sharing the current development and pilot work rather than measured production-performance claims.
The MES subscription starts at RUB 100,000/month. Camilla PowerMill is an independent free plugin and is not included in that subscription. I would welcome feedback on how you keep CAM documents, material estimates, job revisions and shop-floor events connected.
