A year ago my cofounder and I were laid off and looking for jobs. Job seeking is a highly frustrating process that can involve applying to hundreds of positions on an endless number of different job sites. There is also zero transparency in the application process post submission. Meanwhile, recruiters are overwhelmed with the quantity of resumes received per job listing and left with no clear way of vetting potential employees for culture, personality, or team needs. So we decided to build a platform focused on efficiency, transparency and getting yes/no answers quickly.
