Hi Product Hunt! This is an experiment of a paid social network. It's very targeted, not for everyone, not even for me : ) The value proposition here is: Calma is a social network where you will find only people that has been very successful with their finances and enjoy a relaxed life. That is accomplished by a Fee that everybody needs to pay. Some things I want to learn and discover: - How to approach partnerships. I think the only possibility for this to take off is to get some help from public people and influencers. Same for press. - I'm using elgg opensource for the community. I hope to master it soon. - I know the concept is interesting and that there is a market for this, but without endorsements I don't think anybody is going to signup. Anyway it is an idea I had for long in my head, if I make some noise that's fine, the idea is to keep releasing products, so stay updated.

I think there is definitely a space for paid social networks, but it will be interesting to see how you solve the chicken and egg problem. Agree with above comments that a fee of few hundred dollars a month might unlock a larger market and use cases.

@pruthvi agree. But as the money is the only differentiator, I think it should be notorious. I plan to approach chicken&egg problem like this: - Contact brands, let's see what their up too. I need top consumer brands logos in there - I want to share % with famous people. So no just give free membership to them, giving them a % so they can push it too. Any other idea? Listening! : ) *The fake profiles tactic... would be very funny. What I start with? Kings and princesses?

Would be interesting to see who pays that much money to get in! It mostly goes back to how you can incentivize a rich influencer to pay that much money to share content for a limited wealthy audience. I will definitely look forward to see the result of your experiment! All the best.
