CalcFormula is a free calculator site for construction and electrical work — over 300 tools covering concrete, framing, slope, drainage, steel weight, and pipe sizing. What makes it different: every formula is checked against real sources (ACI, IBC/IRC, ASTM, ASME) instead of copied from other sites, and many tools go further than typical competitors — multiple shapes, flexible unit entry, reverse-solve modes — instead of one rigid input path. No signup, no paywall, just the math done right.
Hey everyone — maker here.
CalcFormula started as one construction calculator and grew into 300+ over the last four months. The thing that surprised me most building it: the tool's actual scope mattered more than I expected. A page would underperform and I'd assume the content was thin, but a few times the real problem was the calculator only handling one shape or one input method when everything else people compared it to handled three or four.
Everything's free, no signup. Would genuinely love feedback — especially if you hit a calculator that's missing something a competitor has, since that's exactly the kind of gap I'm trying to close as I go.
