We are launching v1 of Cairn, a stakeholder relationship and research compliance manager, by researchers, for researchers. If you're a researcher, most "contact management" options are either a bloated sales CRM you have to bend into shape, or a spreadsheet that falls apart the moment your project gets complex. Cairn is neither. Cairn is a comprehensive platform that takes human research products from start to finish, helping you remain in compliance, budget, and good standing along the way.
The compliance tracking actually feels built by people who've dealt with IRB headaches, not adapted from a sales tool. Wish I had this during my last longitudinal study instead of wrestling with spreadsheets and buried email threads.
@ebrarieklitgfp Thanks for noticing! The compliance tracking focuses on the major headaches IRBs usually cause; consent and ethics issues, budget discrepancies, and concerns over data management - Cairn tackles all of those points, and more.
This was built in order to help researchers focus on the research, not on wrangling multiple different software (and paper copies) together to just be allowed to do their work.
Finally something built with research workflows in mind rather than just retrofitting a sales CRM. The compliance tracking and budget views feel especially useful for IRB-heavy projects.
