CadPeek is a free browser platform for opening DWG/DXF without AutoCAD. View layers, search labels, measure distances, mark up issues, convert DWG↔DXF and CAD→PDF, and share view-only links. Built for contractors, engineers, owners, and reviewers. Local-first parsing by default, no install. Supports DWG R12–2024.

how does the local-first parsing actually work in the browser, is my dwg data getting uploaded anywhere or does it truly stay on my device?
Layer filter presets would be a huge time saver on big drawing sets, letting you save common combinations like "structural only" or "MEP + existing" and switch with one click instead of toggling each layer manually every time.
finally a way to peek at dwg files without bugging the cad guy for a pdf. layer search is faster than i expected on a big project file.
