Scripted videos should not look scripted. Cadence puts your words over the iPhone camera so you can maintain natural eye contact while recording UGC, ads, demos, testimonials, and founder videos. Voice Follow moves the script as you speak, while a browser remote lets you control the shoot from any computer on the same Wi-Fi. The finished video stays clean, with no text overlay. Scripts and recordings stay on-device. Three completed recordings are free.
Hey Product Hunt, I built Cadence because I make my own ads and got tired of fighting with teleprompter apps.
Honestly, they all kind of sucked. The script would sit in a weird spot, the pacing felt unnatural, or the app made recording a simple video way more complicated than it needed to be. I just wanted the words close to the camera, a clean video at the end, and controls that stayed out of my way. So I built my own.
At first, Cadence was literally just for me. Then my roommate started using it and found it super useful too. That was the point where I realized it probably shouldn't stay as a little tool on my phone, so I decided to launch it.
Cadence lets you paste a script, record with the front camera, and maintain natural eye contact while the text scrolls. Voice Follow moves the script with your speech. You can also control it from a computer on the same Wi-Fi, and the finished video saves without the text overlay. Scripts and recordings stay on-device.
It's built for UGC, ads, demos, testimonials, founder videos, or any time you know what you want to say but don't want to look like you're reading it.
Three completed recordings are free. If you try it, I genuinely want to know what feels clunky or missing. The whole reason this exists is because I got annoyed enough to build the version I wanted.
